Celebrating weddings in Cambodia - that means eating and drinking a lot, way too overdressed girls, a lot of dancing and traditions, traditions, traditions. Bride and groom change their outfit at least seven times. The wedding takes place in a big tent that is placed in the middle of some random street. Everybody, who originally planned on driving through that street, has to look for another way. Most of the times there are more than 500 people invited, who sometimes - most of the time not on time - only come to eat one of the at least six courses and give their present and then leave again. Just have a look .... (It's the first time that I am part of the pictures).

"Ja, ich will" auf Khmer - "Yes, I do" in Khmer
Hochzeit feiern in Kambodscha - das heißt unendlich viel essen und trinken, sich total übertrieben schminken und stylen, tanzen bis zum Umfallen und Traditionen über Traditionen. Das Brautpaar wechselt rund sieben Mal sein Outfit. Die Hochzeit findet in einem "Bierzelt" mitten auf der Straße statt. Alle, die jemals damit geplant hatten, dort vorbei zu fahren, haben eben Pech gehabt. Meistens werden rund 500 oder mehr Gäste eingeladen, die teilweise - meist unpünklich - erscheinen, oftmals nur einen der mehr als sechs Gänge essen, ihr Geschenk abgeben und dann wieder verschwinden. Aber seht selbst .... (Das erste Mal bin selbst ich auf den Fotos).
