Mensch, verachte den Menschen nicht: Alles neu, alles anders

Bevor ich meine Reise nach Kambodscha angetreten habe, habe ich mir natürlich so meine Gedanken gemacht - über das Land, die Leute, die Arbeit und über alles, was sonst so dazu gehört. Bereits nach einer Woche kann ich sicher sagen, dass ich mir diese Gedanken hätte schenken können. Alles ist neu - alles ist anders.
Ich finde es schwierig, meine Gedanken und Gefühle in Worte zu fassen - im Moment ist alles einfach noch sehr viel und überwältigend. Damit ihr wenigstens mal einen kleinen Eindruck von den Kindern hier im ChildrensHome sowie von Phnom Penh und dem dortigen Verkehrsaufkommen bekommt, findet ihr im Anschluss an diesen Eintrag ein paar Fotos.
Ich hoffe euch allen geht es gut. Ich werde wahrscheinlich am Ende der Woche noch einmal ausführlich bloggen und euch genauer von meinen ersten Erlebnissen erzählen. Macht euch keine Sorgen. Ich werde mich hier mit Sicherheit durchschlagen. Irgendwie. Irgendwann. Ich denke ganz fest an euch.

Bevor I left for Cambodia last week, I naturally wondered about the country, the people, the work that needs to be done and everything else you could think of. After a couple days I am for sure able to say that most of these thoughts were pointless. Everything is new - everything is different.
Right now it is hard for me to express my feelings and thoughts in words - everything just seems to be a little too much and is pretty much overwhelming. You can find some picutures at the end of this entry to get at least a little impression of the kids living in the ChildrensHome as well as life in Phnom Penh and its crazy traffic.
I hope that you are all doing well. I will probably write a longer entry at the end of this week to tell you about my first adventures. Don't worry about me. I will for sure battle my way through this. Somehow. Sometime. I will be thinking about you.
