Ausgeraubt in den Urlaub - Mobbed off to vacation

Für diejenigen, die es noch nicht mitbekommen haben: Ich wurde Freitag nachmittag auf offener Straße überfallen. Ein nicht besonders netter kambodschanischer Mitbürger meinte mich auf einer vierspurigen Straße von meinem Fahrrad stoßen zu müssen und mir meine Tasche mit meinem Portemonaire zu klauen. Es hat sich niemand, wirklich niemand daran gestört! Mir ist körperlich dabei außer ein paar Kratzern und einem kaputten T-shirt nichts passiert. Es ist zwar ärgerlich, dass recht viel Bargeld, meine Kreditkarte, Führerscheine etc. weg sind, aber meine Gesundheit ist schließlich am wichtigsten. Mir geht es gut.
Samstag morgen geht es mit drei deutschen Mädels nach Pho Quoc, einer vietnamesische Insel, in den Urlaub - eine Woche (Hoch)sommer, Sonne, Strand. Dort werde ich mit den Mädels auch gemütlich meinen Geburtstag feiern. Nach der Woche werde ich mich mit einem der Mädels noch auf den Weg nach Ho Chi Minh City, ehemals Saigon, machen, um diese Stadt noch etwas kennen zu lernen. Man soll ja schließlich alles mitnehmen, wenn man schon einmal "in der Gegend" ist! Ich werde mich nach dem Urlaub mit vielen Fotos und einem langen Bericht zurückmelden!

For all of you, who did not know so far: I was mugged last Friday. In the afternoon one of the not so nice Cambodian men knocked me off my bicycle - on one of the most crowded streets of the entire city - and stole my bag with my wallet in there. However, nobody cared about it. Physically I am doing fine. My shoulder hurts a little bit and there is a hole in my shirt, but that is about it. All the things that were in my wallet can be replaced, so there is not really anything to worry about as long as I am okay, and I am.
On Saturday morning I will leave for vacation to the biggest vietnamese island Phu Choc with three German girls I met here - Summer, sun, and beach. That is also where I will enjoy a very relaxed 23rd birthday. After a week will I will head to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), just to see another big city in Southeast Asia. After my vacation I will get back to you with lots of pictures and a long travelog!
